Keywords: osteoporosis, Legg-Calve-Pertes disease.

Legg-Calve-Pertes disease accompanies with local osteoporosis of the hip joint. Development of this situation is connected with different factors.
Objective of the investigation: to reveal is local osteoporosis accompanies with total.
41 patients were investigated at the age 4-10 years old, the treatment in all of the patients was the same and without cast immobilization.
The stage of transitional arthritis was in 13 patients, the stage of the necrosis was in 6 patients, the stage of fragmentation was in 4 patients, the stage of reparation was in 4 patients and the stage of consequence was in 3 patients.
On the basis of the densitometry (one-photon densitometry NK-364 (Hungary) and rontgendensitometry) founded that at the stage of transitional arthritis BMD and BMC stay at the normal activities for the age. There are marked osteopeny at the stage of the necrosis and at the stages of necrosis and fragmentation we revealed skeletal osteoporosis. At the stage of the consequences we didn’t found changes in BMD and BMC. In cases of the torpid forms ostopenia were prolonged in time. Transitional osteoporosis in patients with Legg-Calve-Pertes disease did not affect forming of bone tissue.
Conclusions
1. Legg-Calve-Pertes disease accompanies with local and total osteoporosis.
2. Osteoporosis during the course of Legg-Calve-Pertes disease has transitional character according to the stage of the process and could be a sign of disease severity or as prognostic factor.

CHOROBA LEGG-CALVE-PERTESA I OSTEOPOROZA

Słowa kluczowe: osteoporosis, Legg-Calve-Pertes disease.

Choroba Legg-Calve-Perthesa towarzyszy miejscowej osteoporozie w okolicach stawu biodrowego.
Wnioski
1. Chorobie Legg-Calve-Perthesa towarzyszy miejscowa i uogólniona osteoporoza.
