3,000 ATTENDEES AT THE ACADEMY OF OSTEOPOROSIS
The success of the Academy of Osteoporosis has truly surprised me.
Just six months after launching on VuMedi in October 2025, we have welcomed over 3,000 participants from six continents. It is a real pleasure to share our global reach – including the attached map and data summary. Interestingly, the number of participants from the United States (2,374) exceeds the total from the rest of the world combined. I must admit, I am still wondering… is this good news or not?
The Academy continues to grow steadily, with approximately 165 new participants joining every month. The attached chart clearly demonstrates this consistent upward trend.
The Academy currently includes 10 video lectures, delivering evidence-based knowledge on the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis, as well as fall prevention strategies.
Total duration: 365 minutes | 552 slides

Following requests from many physicians, we are now expanding the Academy with a new lecture series: “Controversies in Osteoporosis”
Planned as four seasonal highlights:
- April: Are denosumab biosimilars safe?
- June: Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw – facts and myths
- September: Discontinuation of denosumab – is the rebound effect a catastrophe?
- December: Do we already have the best drug for osteoporosis?
All updates will be shared with users registered on VuMedi.
Registration is free: https://www.vumedi.com/accounts/register/
Warm regards to all current and future participants,
